DOROTA BUCZKOWSKA (ur.1971) absolwentka Wydziału Rzeźby i Restauracji Dzieł Sztuki ASP w Warszawie, Gender Studies na UW oraz Centrum Sztuki Villa Arson w Nicei. Twórczo zajmuje się m.in. malarstwem, rzeźbą, grafiką, fotografią, rysunkiem. Formalnie jej prace wyróżnia perfekcyjny warsztat malarski i graficzny oraz autorskie operowanie świetlistością zastosowanych barw.
Otrzymała liczne wyróżnienia i granty m.in. Award at the Biennale Lorne Sculpture Australia (2011), Pro Helvetia CRIC Sierre Center (2011), Pollock Krasner Foundation Grant (2010), Residence in Tel – Aviv, The Polish Season in Israel (2007), Artist in Residence, Center for Contemporary Art, Synagogue of Delme (2005), Artist in Residence, Bundeskanzleramt – Federal Chancellery Wien (2004), French Scholarship in Centre National des Arts Plastiques Villa Arson Nice (2003).

DOROTA BUCZKOWSKA – born in 1971 in Warsaw. Works across mediums including painting, sculpture, graphic art, photography, and drawing. A graduate of the Faculties of Sculpture and of the Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in Gender Studies at the University of Warsaw, and the National School of Fine Arts at the Villa Arson in Nice. Recipient of numerous grants and awards. She has had numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
